With “de Chirico — Magical reality”, an exhibition is on display in Hamburg which, for the first time, focuses on the Italian artist Giorgio de Chirico (1888-1978). The founder of the “Pittura metafisica” art movement, he became one of the most influencing precursors of Surrealism and of the New Objectivity. A selection of this exhibition is presented here by Generali Deutschland.
